They are a 15 billion dollar unit of a Global Organization. The Wisconsin facility designs, develops, and manufactures critical care devices for the healthcare market. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and evaluate current products for both US and international product lines. • Coordinate and support design, manufacturing, and problem solving efforts. • Create and review designs. • Develop new initiatives for future projects. • Develop test and validation protocols. • Interface to identify features to be implemented on future product versions. • Ensure product compliance for quality, safety, and performance. • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing to create design efficiencies. • Manage project schedules. • Travel to and from Europe is required. Qualifications: • BS in Mechanical Engineering required. • 7-10 years relevant product development experience required. • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment. • Superior communications with the ability to coordinate global projects. • Ability to simultaneously progress multiple assignments. • Exposure to a wide range of manufacturing processes, injection molding, casting, and sheet metal. • Aptitude for systems engineering, spanning electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic disciplines. • Electro-mechanical systems design experience. • Experience with various material design such as plastic parts, sheet metal enclosures, and casted parts. • Experience working in highly regulated environment and knowledge of FDA, MDD, IEC, and ISO regulations and guidelines preferred. • Minimum 3-5 years of design experience in Parametric 3D CAD systems, Pro-E, or SolidWorks preferred.
